Our Big Bus tour was A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. First, the location info on where to validate tickets was wrong. The Big Bus did 4 stops and then went on a break. That was ok but we weren’t allowed on the next departing Big Bus. We waited 20 minutes for another Big Bus - none came. The City Sightseeing rep wouldn’t let us on a CS bus until we said we were leaving. But we had to sit in certain seats. Then our recorded narration/earbuds didn't work. So we hopped off for good. A big disappointment!

We have confirmed that on that day we had several incidents with the bus service. We apologize for this. We made an appropriate refund due to the incident caused.

Highly recommend this Hop on Hop off service. The recorded information during our journeys were full of interesting information about the history of the buildings and surrounding areas, the maps provided were also excellent. The buses were very clean, always on time and lovely and warm. The guides at the stops were very helpful and informative. We used the two day pass and very much enjoyed the river cruise that was included in the price. It was a great way to see the city.

Great way to get around Budapest and see everything you want to. Helpful staff and the 72 hour pass was ideal for our stay and included extras for example the castle shuttle.

The on board commentary didn’t work on all the seats, the commentary itself had been adapted and obviously pieces had been removed. With the amount of people using the buses plus the money charged, a new commentary each year or season would be appropriate. Also, add the “stop” numbers to it so it ties up with the map - as I said it’s been adapted but more likely butchered.
